Day 2 of our stay at Dickeys Flat and we plan to walk are least one of the walks we failed to complete yesterday

The Karangahaki gorge walk is along the river, this goes to the windows walk via the 180 mtr miner’s tunnel. This is the more popular route taken as it also passes a couple of swimming holes.

There is a other loop track that is roughly 1.5 kms longer and goes up over the hills to the old Karangahaki stamper sight. This is less busy but more strenuous.
