We left Tolaga Bay campsite just after 10.00 drove for 500 mtrs and stopped for coffee at Broad Bill’s, the best coffee we’ve had for a long time.

While drinking and chatting we were offered a free blueberry muffin. Who would say no. This too was the best muffin we’ve had for some time.

We made a 7 km detour to Anaura Bay, where there was a lovely doc campsite right on the beach. There was also several walks starting at or near the campsite. Perhaps another trip here will be required.

We ended up at a lovely spot right on the beach at Tokomaru Bay.

After setting up camp we walked to town and bumped into Pedro.
