Today we are off to Little Waipa Reserve a free camping site 45 minutes south of Hamilton.

We are joining sister Lynda, who is tent camping, and brother John, who is bringing his caravan.

All that is required is a permit obtainable from South Waikato Regional Council.

The campsite lies on the edge of Lake Karapiro and has free gas fired bbq’s, toilets and even hot showers.
